Going to the Dentist today!!

Today Abigail and I went to the dentist. We have never taken Abby to the dentist before and she did SUCH a good job. Most of the time they can't do anything to someone Abby's age because the child won't let them. She let them do everything. I was so proud of her!! They gave her a free kids meal certificate for Del Taco for being so good!! I am pretty proud of myself as well. I haven't been to the dentist in a LONG time... Kinda embarrassing!! But I didn't have any cavities and my teeth looked really good they said!! YEAH..

Everyone at the dentist office loved Abby. They kept telling me how cute she was. She was so good while they were taking care of me as well. She just sat and watched!! The lady at the front desk told me that Abby had the prettiest face she had ever seen. That was so nice of her to say!!

Relaxing Day

I don't know what to do with myself today!! Abigail slept over at Grandma Flanders house last night. She was so excited!! She didn't even care that we left.. :) Now I just have Lauren today and it is pretty relaxing. I was able to clean my house while she took a nap!! It is so weird only having one little girl to take care of!! The house feels empty, but I am SOOO grateful to grandma for taking Abby.

January is finally over!!

Wow, I am so glad that January is over!! It was kind of a stressful month for us. We moved into our new home on January 19th and spent the rest of the month getting organized!! I finally gave the keys from the apartment back yesterday. That was a sad but really happy moment!! We love our new house!!

It was also my birthday this month. I turned 28 on January 24th. Mike took me out to dinner and tried to take me shopping. I couldn't find anything I wanted though. :(

Abby is growing up so fast!! She loves our new house. I asked her if she wanted to live in the new house or go back and live at the apartment and she said, "I want to live in the new house." I thought it would be a hard adjustment for her, but it has been more fun than difficult for her.

Lauren on the other hand had a harder time adjusting to the new place. At the apartment, she still slept in the bassinett. So she had to get used to a new room AND a new bed in the new place. She is getting adjusted now though.

Abigail is really starting to notice Lauren lately. For the past 6 months, I haven't had to tell Abby to be soft or anything with Lauren. I don't even think she realized she was there. Now, Abby loves to give her toys and (take them away) from Lauren. She wants to hug her and I now have to tell her to be soft!! Lauren doesn't seem to mind though. She LOVES staring at her sister and giggling. Lauren rolled over for the first time in the new house about 2 weeks ago. I was so proud of her. Now she is rolling all over the place. Last night we foolishly thought we could leave Lauren on the couch for a min while we got something in the other room. Well, we found out (after she rolled off the couch) that we can't do that anymore. Lauren was fine, but it scared me alot more than her I think.

This Sunday, we are going to go to our new ward. We are really excited and scared at the same time.

Getting a new home!!

Mike and I are so excited!! Tomorrow we close on our new home!! It has been a busy week. Monday we were able to do our final walk through of our new place and we brought Abigail and Lauren with us. Abby was running around the place, she loved it. She keeps talking about moving into our new house.

Tuesday I did laundry at my parents house for the last time before I get my OWN washer and dryer.. hehe.. After I was done with the laundry I took Lauren and Abigail over to Chesney's house. Abby was so excited to see Kinley and Shaylee!! It was so fun getting together with my friends from the apt.

Today (Wednesday) we are going to my parents house at about 4pm and Brian is going to open his mission call!!! I am so excited for him

Thursday: We are going to close on our new home.

Friday, we are going to get the key!!!

Saturday we are going to start taking some things over!!!

We are so excited!!

Excited about moving

So today has been a pretty busy day. We are moving into our new home in January. It is pretty crazy trying to take care of two girls and trying to pack for the move. Today I took down Lauren's crib. (She is still in the bassinett). Abby is pretty cute. She keeps saying that she is excited to move to the new home because she will have bunnies and bears on her wall AND we will have a washer and dryer!!! She has been listening to me too much!! We are really excited to be moving to Murray. We will be 2 miles away from my parents and less than a mile from one of my aunt Brenda and Grandma and Grandpa Brown. I am kinda nervous because we have lived here for 5 1/2 years and it is going to be weird living somewhere new. This apt is where we brought home our little girls from the hospital. It has been where we have lived since we were married. We have a lot of memories here, but it will be fun to watch Abby and Lauren grow up in our new place and make new memories.

Mike is still working at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center. He is trying to find a new job in computers, but that isn't going really well. He does like where he works right now though so that is good. I am a stay at home mommy. There are times when I wish I had a job just to get me out of the house, but most days, I am so happy to be the one home with my girls!!
