Cheetos for Breakfast

So I will never claim to be the worlds greatest mom and today I definately wouldn't get the gold... We had a bbq over at my friends house last night and we forgot to put the chips away. Lauren found them this morning and I found her in front of the tv munching on them!! Abby got in on the action as well!! Those girls need to gain some weight so I didn't even stop them. I kept asking them if I could get some cereal instead, but alas.. cheetos is all they wanted. Afterwards, I did get them to eat some cereal bars as well... so Hey.. I don't let them do it everyday.. so that is ok right?? I will be a better mom tomorrow!!!

Memorial Day 2009

This was a pretty fun Memorial Day weekend!! Mike and I actually went on a date to Rodizio Grill and on Monday we went hiking and had a little picnic with our friends the Rasmussens and the Tenney's. The kids loved to throw rocks into the river and climb all over the rocks. When we first got to the waterfall, Lauren only wanted to sit in her comfy chair. She sat in it for a good 1/2 hour. When we finally got her out of the chair, she loved to throw the rocks in the river and find all the bugs everywhere!!! We had a fun time!!

I'm an Aunt again!!!

My brother Jason and his wife Sally just had their baby girl last night! They named her Elyse! She is so beautiful! She was born at 7:47 pm, she weighed 6 lbs 12 oz and is 20 1/2 inches long.

We are so excited to have her be a part of the family!!

BUNK BEDS!!!!

So Mike and I have been looking all over for a good bunk bed and we FOUND ONE!!! We are so excited to have it! My wonderful parents watched the girls while we went and got them. That was an event in itself! We bought them at the RC Willey outlet, BUT we had to go pick them up at the warehouse clear out on 5600 W by the airport. It took almost 3 hours just to get them.. but then the next day my wonderful Aunt Brenda and cousin Lindsey watched the girls while we set it up... and then 2 hours later... VWALLAW.. the finishing product!! The girls LOVE them!! Abby was SOO excited to be able to sleep in her new bed last night! Lauren on the other hand thought it was a fun toy for a little bit, but when we tried to get her to lay down on it, she didn't want anything to do with it!! Thank goodness we can still have the crib up for a few more months. We will keep trying!! :)

Fun at the Park

On Wednesday we went to the WJ Park. The weather was deceiving though!! It looked GORGEOUS.. but it was FREEZING!! The girls still had a fun time though!!
