Wheeler Farm

I can't tell you how excited I was to go to Wheeler Farm this past Wednesday!! I couldn't wait to take the girls to see all the fun baby animals, take a wagon ride, have a picnic, and hang out with some of my friends!! It was kind of like a little reunion of the friends I had in Central Park Ward!! When we went home, Lauren took a 3 hour nap!! Yeah for fun outings!!

Trip to Idaho

We spent a weekend up in Idaho with my sister Robin and her husband Brett (and their dog Lacey). The girls had a fun time. We flew kites, played in the backyard, and went to the Boise Zoo. Here are some fun pictures of our fun weekend.

Easter

Murray Park

We went to play at the Murray Park on a fun Spring day in April. The girls had a lot of fun.

This is where Abigail stayed pretty much the whole time. She did the slide and the revolving seat once maybe twice each and then would always end right back here!

Lauren loved all the playground toys, but this one was her favorite! Everytime I tried to take her out, she would cry to go back in!

Candy Factory

Today we went on a tour of the "Sweet's Candy Factory." It is so fun to go and see how the candy is made and it is even more fun to EAT the free taffy they give you at the end!! The only problem is that they have candy for a pretty good price, so I just had to buy myself some chocolate covered cinnamon bears and some Rasberry Sticks!!! YUMMY!! We all had such a fun time. Abby loved the "hats" that they made us wear. She didn't want to take hers off and she wouldn't let me throw it away. She made me keep hers.

Nap Time

I don't understand it.. it is beyond me.. Why doesn't Abigail take a nap DURING her quiet time??? I will never understand I guess.. So instead she was so tired that she fell asleep yesterday at the dinner table. It was so cute that I had to take a picture!!

Catch Up

Ok.. So I haven't blogged FOREVER!!! Our computer was on the "fritz" for about a week or so and then I just got busy.. so here we go.. Catch up time..

First of all.. we went to Disney on Ice on March 12th. SO much fun!! It was just as much fun watching Abby as it was the show. I can't wait till next year when I can take both of the girls. (Lauren was a little young this year)










On one afternoon, I thought it would be fun to get out a computer box that Mike had brought home a while ago and make them a little "clubhouse".. I didn't realize it was going to be such a HIT!! I still have the huge box in my living room.. luckily it doesn't take TOO much room, but everyday Lauren comes running in and plays in it. If we ever can't find something, that is the first place we look because Lauren has had a habit of stashing our belongings in there!! :)






I was SO sad one night... I took Lauren out of the bathtub and I found these marks on her arms and stomach. I was so nervous that I had my parents come over and take a look at her as well (Mike was at a game night and I wasn't going to make him come home unless it was an emergency) I called instacare and her doctor to see if it might be ringworm. My dr told me that she didn't think it was because ringworm doesn't come on so fast.. so we decided that it must be a rash of some kind. So I gave her some benadryl and it went mostly away after a few hours. The only frustrating thing now is that I am not sure what my cute girl is allergic too... :( So I have to watch her closely to make sure it doesn't happen again!!
